Dacia has unveiled the highly anticipated updated Spring EV. Based on the Renault Kwid, this electric hatchback features a significantly updated design compared to its predecessor. The revamped model features Dacia's latest design language while drawing inspiration from the new Duster. The new Dacia Spring EV gives us a glimpse into what the Renault Kwid EV might look like.

Dacia Spring EV - Exterior Design 

Dacia Spring EV boasts a more modern and rugged appearance, largely due to its Duster-inspired front fascia. It now features a new grille, LED headlamps, skid plate, bumper intakes that further contribute to its rugged appearance. 

Taking a look at the Spring EV from the side, it features new wheel designs, while retaining large door handles from its predecessor. The fenders have been slightly modified and a ribbon has been added to the C pillar in the new Spring EV, giving it a crossover stance. The hatchback rides on 16-inch alloy wheels. 

At the rear, the Dacia Spring EV features connected LED taillights and a bumper with plastic cladding to enhance its sporty crossover appeal. With this new model, the electric hatchback is available in new colour options which includes Brick Red and Safari Beige paint shades.

Dacia Spring EV - Interior 

Moving inside the Dacia Spring EV, it has undergone a notable update as it features a modern and refreshed dashboard design. In terms of features, it gets a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. However, these may not be available in base-level models. Moreover, the AC vents, gear shifter and dashboard-mounted tray have been redesigned. 

Dacia Spring EV - Powertrain 

In terms of powertrain, the Dacia Spring EV will continue to be equipped with the existing 26.8 kWh battery pack. This battery pack is capable of providing a driving range of 220 km on a single charge. The Spring EV also features vehicle-to-load charging capability, enabling the owner to charge the battery and power electric devices.
