Renault Kwid Facelift: The 2026 Renault Kwid Facelift is set to launch in India on July 3, 2026. The Kwid has remained one of the most significant nameplates for the brand in India since it was introduced in 2015. Now, more than a decade later, the brand will be launching a mid-cycle upgrade for its popular hatchback. Let’s take a look at the expected design, features, and specs of the upcoming 2026 Renault Kwid Facelift.
Renault Kwid Facelift 2026: Expected Design
The Kwid facelift 2026 will feature minimal changes in terms of its exterior. Prototypes of the Kwid have been spied on several occasions in the country, and the test mules have been spotted with camouflage on the front and taillights. This suggests that the Kwid facelift will feature revised bumpers, a redesigned grille, and a new Y-shaped signature for the lighting elements.

Renault Kwid Facelift 2026: Expected Features
Just like the exterior, the Renault Kwid Facelift 2026 is expected to feature minimal changes inside the cabin. The brand has not yet shared or released any information about the features of the Kwid facelift 2026. We expect it to feature a redesigned dashboard, more premium upholstery, a larger touchscreen for the infotainment System, and a fully digital instrument cluster. A prototype was seen with a larger touchscreen, which looked identical to the one that has been incorporated in the Renault Duster.
Renault Kwid Facelift 2026: Expected Engine
While the Kwid facelift 2026 is expected to feature minimal changes in terms of design and features, it will likely remain unchanged in terms of engine. The Kwid facelift is expected to be powered by the same 1-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which can be paired with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. The engine is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 65 hp and 96 Nm, respectively.
