New-Gen Royal Enfield Classic 350: Royal Enfield, a renowned motorcycle manufacturer in India is gearing up to launch several new models in the country. According to a report by Autocar Professional, Royal Enfield is planning to significantly revamp the Classic 350 lineup along with its other 350cc counterparts. In addition to this, there have also been reports that Royal Enfield will be launching 5 new models this year.

Talking about the Classic 350, Royal Enfield is making significant updates to this mode as it will shift to the J platform engine from the previous UCE motor. These updates will also extend to other 350cc models like the Bullet, Hunter, and Meteor.

The company is showcasing its strength by utilising various products and engine designs to create diverse styles and designs. With over 1,800 touch points across the country, Royal Enfield is expanding its presence. It's also establishing vehicle assembly bases globally to increase production.

Moreover, Royal Enfield is focusing on the entire ownership experience, including apparel, accessories and aftermarket services. They've introduced an assured buyback program called ReOwn and ventured into the rental space to enhance the brand experience.

With an aggressive product lineup of over six to nine new models in FY25, Royal Enfield aims to achieve sales of over 1 million units for the first time this year. This strategy targets a growth rate of 12-15 per cent in the current fiscal year. The domestic sales goal is set at around 9.4 lakh units, while international sales are expected to reach 75,000 to 90,000 units.

Despite the entry of big global players like Harley-Davidson and Triumph, Royal Enfield has maintained its market share in the Indian motorcycle market. It holds a 4.64 per cent share in the overall two-wheeler segment and an impressive 88 per cent share in the 250-800cc segment, selling 8.34 lakh units.
