It is not yet known where the Interceptor Bear 650 will be positioned within Royal Enfield's lineup. It is expected to be above the simpler 650 twins but below the flagship Super Meteor 650. Talking about its engine specs, the Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 will be powered by the same air/oil-cooled, 648cc, parallel-twin engine that is used in other Royal Enfield 650 models. This engine is capable of delivering a power output of 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque. However, it will sport a unique two-into-one exhaust setup, reducing weight and aiding in off-road performance. The front suspension will feature a USD fork, similar to other 650cc Royal Enfield models, while the rear will have twin shock absorbers with increased travel for better off-road handling.

Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 - Design

In terms of design, the Interceptor Bear 650 follows Royal Enfield's classic neo-retro style with a vintage fuel tank, minimal bodywork and LED lighting all around. The headlight resembles other models in the lineup, while the indicators and tail-lamp have a distinct look borrowed from different Royal Enfield bikes. One notable feature is the use of block-pattern tyres similar to the Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR, although the availability in India may depend on local tyre manufacturers due to import restrictions. The Interceptor Bear 650 will likely come with tubed tyres instead of tubeless ones, ensuring reliability on rough terrains.
