Simple Energy, a Bangalore based electric two-wheeler company has launched the Dot One e-scooter for the Indian market. Simple Energy has launched the Dot One electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 99,999. The electric two-wheeler manufacturer has stated that the official prices of the Dot One e-scooter will be revealed in January 2024 while bookings for the Simple Dot One are now open. The Dot One will directly compete with Ola’s affordable electric scooters range that includes models like the Ola S1 Air and Ola S1X.

Simple Dot One - Performance
Simple Dot One has been built on the platform of Simple One and is equipped with an 8.5 kW electric motor and a3.7 kWh battery. The electric motor helps in producing a power output of 12 bhp and 72 Nm of torque. The battery pack fitted in the e-scooter helps in delivering a driving range of 151 km on a single charge. Simple Energy has claimed that the Dot One can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.8 seconds and is capable of achieving a top speed of 105 km/h.
Simple Dot One - Design and Features
Talking about the exterior design of the Simple Dot One, it is available in four distinct colour schemes which are Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White and Azure Blue. In terms of features, it will be equipped with a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity similar to the display available with the Simple One. Additionally, it will offer 35 litres of storage area under the seat.
Moreover, the electric two-wheeler manufacturer has clarified that the introductory price is applicable only to a restricted group of customers in Bengaluru. The revised pricing for all subsequent customers will be disclosed in January.
