Skoda Kodiaq Lounge Launched: 5-Seat Variant With New Alloy Wheels, Upholstery And More

Skoda Kodiaq Lounge Variant: Skoda Auto has launched a new entry-level variant of the Kodiaq SUV in India. Positioned as a 5-seater variant in the line-up, the Kodiaq Lounge comes with visual updates and new features, priced at Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). At its price, the Kodiaq Lounge is Rs 3.77 lakh less expensive than the Sportline variant, which is positioned between the Lounge and the L&K. Before we tell you what's changed inside and out on the new Lounge, let's first take a quick look at the price range of the Kodiaq:

Skoda Kodiaq Lounge: What's New?

Visually, the Kodiaq adds 18-inch Mazeno alloy wheels and three colour options (Magic Black, Graphite Grey, and Moon White). Bronx Gold and Steel Grey colourways are reserved for the L&K and the Sportline, respectively. Race Blue and Velvet Red options are commonly offered on both.

Features-wise, the Kodiaq Lounge offers a grey-and-faux suede interior with fabric upholstery, as well as a two-spoke steering wheel (instead of a 3-spoke unit), a panoramic sunroof, a 10.4-inch touchscreen, wireless connectivity, a 9-speaker system, and increased boot space (786 litres). In terms of safety, the SUV is offered with almost the same features as the other two variants, except for a 360-degree camera and a powered tailgate.

Skoda Kodiaq Lounge: Engine

Under the hood, the Kodiaq gets a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
