Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition Concept Revealed: Czech automaker Skoda Auto has unveiled a special edition of the Kushaq SUV in India. This special edition model is being referred to as the Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition. Along with the Kushaq Explorer Edition, Skoda has also revealed its plans for a new compact SUV. The Kushaq Explorer Edition boasts unique outdoor-themed cosmetic enhancements and additional interior equipment, based on the top-spec Style trim. However, there is no confirmation yet regarding its availability in the market.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition - Design 

The Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition displayed by the manufacturer featured a bright matte olive green shade with orange highlights on the grille, front bumper, rear spoiler and side body cladding. Additionally, the grille, wing mirrors and badges were painted in a contrasting blacked-out finish. Moreover, the ride height may differ from the regular model due to the off-road-spec 16-inch wheels.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition - Interior 

Moving inside the Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition, the matte olive green theme from the exterior extends to the dashboard panel, centre console area and door pads. The seats are upholstered in black colour with contrast red piping, creating a two-tone interior appearance. In terms of features, it will be equipped with all the features of the Style trim such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital dials, ventilated seats and sunroof. In addition to these, the Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition also adds new features such as a 360-degree camera with an improved rear camera, front parking sensors, a head-up display, rear sunshades, and an air purifier.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition - Powertrain 

In terms of powertrain, the Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition will be available with the same two options - a 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces a power output of 115 bhp and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces a power output of 150 bhp. Moreover, it is equipped with a 4X4 drivetrain.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition - Launch In India 

The Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition is currently just a concept model and Skoda is contemplating whether to launch this in the Indian market or not. If it is launched in India, the Kushaq Explorer Edition will be the third special edition for the Kushaq, followed by the Monte Carlo and Matte Edition models.
