Skoda Auto recently released the design sketches of its upcoming Superb sedan facelift that is slated to be launched internationally on November 2. The Czech automaker has once again released teasers about the interiors of the sedan. Skoda will also be launching the station wagon variant of the Skoda Superb, however, that will not be making its way to India. The Skoda Superb sedan is expected to be launched for all global markets including India by mid-2024.
Skoda Superb - Interior Sketches
The sketches revealed by Skoda about the interior of the all-new Superb showcase a new dashboard with a large free-standing digital touchscreen infotainment system. Skoda has introduced 'Smart Dials' on the center console for managing HVAC and other functions. Multiple functions of the car can be operated from the steering mounted controls, including the gear selection. Additionally, the Superb is equipped with a new 10-inch digital instrument cluster and an advanced Head-Up display that utilizes augmented reality technology.
Skoda Superb - Exterior
In addition to the interior images, Skoda has also released a teaser video that offers a glimpse of the exterior features in the upcoming new-gen Superb. The video reveals that the Superb is equipped with LED Matrix headlights and LED taillights with unique crystalline accents.
Moreover, it is known that the new-gen Superb will continue to be built on Skoda's MQB platform which suggests that the car's size is likely to be similar to the current model. It's anticipated that the Superb will retain its 2,841 mm wheelbase. Talking about the powertrain of the new-gen Skoda Superb, it is expected to get multiple TSI petrol engines, TDI diesel engines and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Skoda has not revealed specific details about the powertrain of the sedan.
