“The economy is growing fast, there is a positive sentiment, and the sheer buyer aspiration is driving the tremendous growth in the supercar space. We are seeing customers loosening their wallets and opening up to these purchases more than ever before. A booming economy and its resilience to the global uncertainties is making India emerge as a key driving force for supercars, and supercar sales in India should be 10x of what we are doing right now in the next 5-6 years,” Sharad Agarwal, Lamborghini India Head said as quoted by Autocar.

He said, “Despite consistently increasing allocations for India, whatever is being sourced is getting sold out.” He also expressed optimism about the increasing interest in supercars within the country. This positive trend sets the stage for the upcoming launch of the Lamborghini Revuelto V12 plug-in hybrid supercar which is scheduled to take place on December 6. Lamborghini India currently sells three models in India which include the Huracan Sterrato, Huracan Tecnica, Huracan Sto, Huracan Evo Spyder, Urus S and Urus Performante.
