American based EV manufacturer Tesla has finally launched the Cybertruck for the US markets after four years of the introduction of the Cybertruck concept. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla launched the Cybertruck on 30 November at 2pm (CST) in the USA when it was 1:30am on 1st December in India. He revealed the prices and other essential details of the Tesla Cybertruck. Additionally, the first 10 customers received the delivery of the Tesla Cybertruck.
Tesla Cybertruck - Variants
Tesla Cybertruck has been launched in three variants - The base level variant gets a RWD drivetrain while the mid-spec variant gets an AWD drivetrain. The top-spec variant is being referred to as the Cyberbeast which also gets an AWD drivetrain. Currently, Tesla will only deliver the AWD drivetrain and Cyberbeast variants. Delivery of the RWD drivetrain variant of the Cybertruck will commence from next year.

Tesla Cybertruck - Strength and Durability
In addition to these impressive performance figures, the Tesla Cybertruck’s exterior body is completely bulletproof. At the launch event Tesla showcased a video in which multiple bullets were being fired on the exterior of the Cybertruck, however, they failed to pierce through its stainless steel exterior. The exterior body of the Tesla Cybertruck is completely made of stainless steel which prevents the exterior from getting any scratches or dents.

In addition, Tesla also showed off how strong the Cybertruck is by making a video where it pulls a Porsche 911 while towing another 911. They say the Cybertruck can go a quarter mile in less than 11 seconds. With its dual-motor setup, it can tow up to 4.5 tonnes and with the triple-motor setup it can tow up to 6.30 tonnes.
Tesla Cybertruck - Performance
The Tesla Cybertruck base level variant offers a driving range of 402 km and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than seven seconds. The mid-spec variant offers a driving range of 547 km and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in around four seconds while producing a power output of 600 bhp. The Cyberbeast is the most powerful variant of the Cybertruck as it offers a driving range of 514 km and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds while churning a power output of 845 bhp.

Tesla Cybertruck - Interior
Within its interior, it is equipped with two touchscreen displays, one in the front and one at the rear. The front screen measures 18.5 inches in size while the rear displays measures 9.4 inches in size.
Tesla Cybertruck - Prices
Addressing the prices of the Tesla Cybertruck, Elon Musk had previously stated that the Cybertruck will be priced around $40,000. However, Tesla has priced the Cybertruck 50% higher than the previously stated price. The three variants of the Tesla Cybertruck have been priced between $60,990 and $99,990. This approximately converts to Rs 50.82 lakh and Rs 83.30 lakh in the US market.
