Maruti Suzuki Swift, one of India’s most popular hatchbacks, has reached a remarkable milestone with sales surpassing 30 lakh units. This achievement comes after the launch of the fourth-generation Swift, which was launched earlier this year. Maruti Suzuki Swift was first launched for the first time in India in 2005, and has now surpassed the iconic Maruti 800's lifetime sales of 26.6 lakh units in India.

The latest 10 lakh units were sold in just 6.5 years. Worldwide, the Swift has sold over 6.5 million units, with nearly half of those sales coming from India.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, expressed his gratitude, “The Swift has been more than just a car to the millions who have owned it - it has been a symbol of fun, freedom, and exhilaration. With each new generation, the Swift has continued to raise the bar, offering cutting-edge technology, contemporary style, and that unmistakable 'Swift DNA' which continues to captivate customers. This accomplishment fills us with immense gratitude, and we are thankful to all Swift owners across the country."
