Tata Harrier EV Red Bull Challenge: The Tata Harrier EV has set a new record, and its latest achievement is successfully fording the Beas river in Himachal Pradesh. The extreme challenge – undertaken in the range-topping Harrier EV QWD (Quad Wheel Drive) and piloted by Red Bull's Abdo Feghali – started from Pong Dam (aka Beas Dam). With this groundbreaking feat, the Harrier EV became the first Tata model to take on such an extreme challenge as part of the partnership between Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPVL) and Red Bull India.
In a video shared on social media, the Tata Harrier EV was shown following a three-section course, highlighting the exceptional off-road prowess and robust engineering. The EV first navigated the rocky riverbank before entering calm but deep backwaters through to a central island, and then tackling the turbulent, fast-flowing water that followed.
