Tata Motors is set to launch the facelift version of the Tata Nexon and Nexon EV on September 14. Tata Motors hasn't officially unveiled the two SUVs yet some features have been revealed after seeing multiple spy photos.

Nexon Facelift - Exterior Design and Cabin

The Nexon's exterior redesign features a smart split-headlamp system, an eye-catching full-width LED taillight, and new alloy wheels among other notable features. Nexon facelift's interior is expected to feature a redesigned dashboard with touch-screen HVAC controls and slimmer AC vents, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, an advanced digital instrument panel and an all-new two-spoke steering wheel.

Nexon Facelift - Engine

Nexon's engine options for the ICE model will include a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre. A cutting-edge 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, a sporty 5-speed manual, an engaging 6-speed manual, and a quick 6-speed AMT are among the four gearbox options available for the petrol model. The diesel engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Details of the powertrain of the Nexon facelift remain unknown and are most likely to be revealed at the time of the launch. The new Nexon will be made available with 11 trims to choose from. Post the launch, the new ICE Nexon will compete with Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite. Whereas, the Nexon EV will rival the Mahindra XUV400.
