Tata Nexon With ADAS Launched At Rs 13.53 Lakh, Also Gains Red Dark Edition

Tata Nexon ADAS Features: Having recently added a Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System) suite to the Nexon EV, Tata Motors has now equipped the Nexon ICE with an ADAS package, upping the ante on the safety of the passengers. Alongside, Tata has also launched a special edition version of its best-selling Nexon SUV, the Red Dark Edition, with prices starting at Rs 12.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Nexon Fearless+PS DCA with ADAS

The ADAS-equipped Tata Nexon starts at Rs 13.53 lakh for the Fearless+PS DCA variant and goes up to Rs 13.81 lakh for the Red Dark petrol-DCA. The prices are ex-showroom. The Nexon's ADAS package brings features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Centring System, High Beam Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition. This makes the Nexon sit closer to the Hyundai Creta and the Mahindra XUV 3XO in terms of safety features. The Nexon is the first made-in-India SUV to secure a 5-star safety rating from both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP.

Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition: Price, Features

Alongside the ADAS update, Tata has also launched the Nexon Red Dark Edition, priced from Rs 12.44 lakh for the petrol-MT to Rs 14.15 lakh for the diesel-AMT. The prices are ex-showroom. The launch comes on the back of the Tata Nexon registering the best-ever monthly sales of more than 22,000 units last month, thanks to GST revision and a diverse set of powertrain options.

Visually, the Red Dark Edition features an Atlas Black shade, with red accents and Piano Black finishes. The Granite Black cabin incorporatws leatherette ventilated seats (with contrast red stitching),  red inserts on the dash and centre console, and 'Red Dark' badging. The special edition model is offered in five powertrain options: petrol-MT, petrol-DCA, CNG-MT, diesel-MT, and diesel-AMT. However, the ADAS package is reserved for the petrol-DCA powertrain.
