Tesla Model Y Specs: Tesla Model Y sales have remained slow in India since its introduction in the country in June 2025. As per several media reports, the Elon Musk-led Tesla managed to sell only 48 units of its Model Y electric SUV in India in November 2025. The brand began deliveries of the Model Y electric SUV from September 2025 onwards, and as per reports, only 157 units have been sold so far.
Tesla Model Y: Pricing And Variants
The brand has offered Model Y in India with two variants: a standard rear-wheel drive and a long-range rear-wheel drive model. Both of these variants are powered by the same 62.5 kWh battery pack, and while the standard variant has an ex-showroom price of Rs 59.89 lakh (Ex-showroom), the long-range model gets an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 67.89 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Tesla Model Y: Range And Features
The Model Y comes equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen inside the cabin, which controls most functions in the car. It also gets a panoramic glass sunroof and an electrical liftgate. The Model Y boasts some of the most advanced ADAS features, which include a blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, and more. The standard variant of the Model Y has a claimed range of up to 500 kilometres, whereas the long-range model of the SUV is claimed to deliver up to 622 kilometres in a full charge.
