Triumph Motorcycles recently revealed the new Triumph Daytona 660 for all global markets. Triumph India has not announced any launch timeline of the Daytona 660 for the Indian market. However, considering that Triumph has been launching most of its motorcycles in India, it is likely that it will soon be launched in the country. As per media reports, prior to the official launch of the Triumph Daytona 660 in India, Triumph dealerships across the nation have started accepting unofficial bookings of the upcoming sports motorcycle. You can secure your booking by paying a token amount of Rs 50,000.
Triumph Daytona 660 - Engine Specs
Talking about the engine specs of the Triumph Daytona 660, it is powered by a 660cc, liquid cooled, inline 3-cylinder engine that also powers the Trident 660. This engine is capable of producing a power output of 95 bhp and 69 Nm of torque. Though, the engine equipped in the Trident 660 and the Daytona 660 is the same, it has been tweaked to fit the characteristics of a sports bike when fitted in the Daytona. It is claimed that the re-tuned engine in the Daytona 660 offered extra 17 per cent power and 9 per cent torque in comparison to the Trident 660. Additionally, the Daytona 660 introduces a new Sport riding mode, alongside the existing Road and Rain modes.

Triumph Daytona 660 - Hardware
The Triumph Daytona 660 is equipped with 41 mm up-side-down separate function Big Piston forks for the front suspension, offering 110 mm of travel, while the rear features a Showa monoshock with pre-load adjustment and 130 mm of travel. Talking about braking duties, the motorcycle is fitted with twin 310 mm discs in the front with 4-piston calipers and a 220 mm disc at the rear with a single-piston caliper. It is also equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
