Triumph Motorcycles has revived the iconic Daytona name with the introduction of the new Daytona 660. While the Triumph Daytona 660 has been introduced globally, the launch date for the Indian market remains uncertain. The Triumph Daytona 660 shares its foundation with the Trident 660, though it has been modified to align with the characteristics of the Daytona.

Triumph Daytona 660 - Appearance
Talking about the appearance of the Daytona 660, it boasts a sporty look with a full fairing and a split LED headlamp setup at the front. It is also equipped with clip-on handlebars, therefore, the riding posture is expected to be moderately aggressive, striking a balance between sportiness and comfort.
Triumph Daytona 660 - Engine
The Triumph Daytona 660 is powered by the same engine as the Trident 660, an in-line three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It is capable of producing a power output of 94 bhp and 69 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. In comparison, the Trident 660 generates a power output of 80 bhp and 64 Nm of torque. Additionally, the Daytona 660 introduces a new Sport riding mode, alongside the existing Road and Rain modes.
Triumph Daytona 660 - Hardware
Triumph Daytona 660 is built on a tubular steel perimeter frame, supported by 41 mm up-side-down separate function Big Piston forks with 110 mm of travel in the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear featuring pre-load adjustment and 130 mm of travel. Braking responsibilities are handled by twin 310 mm discs in the front with 4-piston calipers and a 220 mm disc at the rear with a single-piston caliper. The motorcycle is equipped with dual-channel ABS and has a seat height of 810 mm which is not excessively tall.
