Triumph Daytona 660 vs Aprilia RS660: Triumph Motorcycles revealed the Daytona 660 for all global markets on Wednesday. The manufacturer has also revealed that the Daytona 660 is built on the same platform as the Trident 660, however, it has been tweaked to match the characteristics of a sports bike. Triumph has not disclosed a date for the Daytona 660 in the Indian market. Though, given that Triumph has been introducing practically all of its motorcycles in India, it is very possible that the Daytona 660 will be introduced in the country soon. After its official launch in India, it will go head to head with other 650 cc models in the segment like the Aprilia RS660, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Honda CBR 650R. Triumph Daytona 660 

Price - Triumph has not yet disclosed the Daytona 660's pricing. However, it is expected to cost between Rs 9 and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.  

Engine Specs - It is propelled by a 650cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine that delivers a power output of 94 bhp and 69 Nm of torque. 

Features - The Triumph Daytona 660 is offered with a new ‘Sport’ riding mode apart from the existing Road and Rain modes. Additionally, it is equipped with a TFT display with bluetooth connectivity, LED headlights, dual-channel ABS and a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.

Aprilia RS660

Price - Aprilia RS660 is available in India at a starting price of Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Engine Specs - It is powered by a 659 cc 4-stroke, liquid cooled, twin-cylinder DOHC engine that generates a power output of 98 bhp and 67 Nm of torque. 

Features - In terms of features, the Aprilia RS660 boasts features such as five riding modes, digital instrument cluster, three-level cornering ABS, adjustable wheelie control, traction control, engine brake control, a bidirectional quickshifter and cruise control.
