Triumph Daytona 660 vs Kawasaki Ninja 650 - Triumph Motorcycles unveiled the Daytona 660 on Wednesday for all global markets. The Triumph Daytona 660 shares its foundation with the Triumph Trident 660, however, the manufacturer has tweaked it to align with the characteristics of a sports tourer. Triumph has not revealed any launch timeline about the Daytona 660 in India. However, considering that Triumph has been launching almost all of its motorcycles in India, it is likely that the Daytona 660 will soon be launched in the country. Post its launch, it will compete with other models in the 650 cc segment such as the Aprilia RS660, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Honda CBR 650R. To make it easier for you to pick one out of the three, let’s start by comparing the Triumph Daytona 660 with the Kawasaki Ninja 650.

Triumph Daytona 660 

Price - Triumph has not yet revealed the price details of the Daytona 660. Though, it is anticipated that it will be priced between Rs 9 to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.  

Engine Specs - It is powered by a 650cc in-line three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing a power output of 94 bhp and 69 Nm of torque. 

Features - The Triumph Daytona 660 is offered with a new ‘Sport’ riding mode apart from the existing Road and Rain modes. Additionally, it is equipped with a TFT display with bluetooth connectivity, LED headlights, dual-channel ABS and a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.

Kawasaki Ninja 650 

Price - Kawasaki Ninja 650 is available in India at a starting price of Rs 7.12 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Engine Specs - It is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that generates a power output of 68 bhp and 64 Nm of torque. 

Features - In terms of features, it is equipped with a 4.3-inch colour TFT display with bluetooth connectivity via Kawasaki Rideology application and is also equipped with the Kawasaki Traction Control System.
