Triumph Motorcycles India launched the Speed 400 for the Indian market in July at an introductory price of Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The British motorcycle manufacturer has now revised the prices of the Triumph Speed 400 and the introductory offer will not be valid after December 31. The prices for the Triumph Speed 400 have now been increased to Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
Triumph Speed 400 - Engine
The Triumph Speed 400 is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 398cc engine that generates a power output of 40 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. This power unit is paired to a six-speed gearbox unit along with slip and assist clutch for transmission duties.
Triumph Speed 400 - Design
Talking about the design of the Triumph Speed 400, it is available in two-tone colour schemes such as Carnival Red, Caspian Blue and Phantom Black along with all-LED lighting units, an upswept silencer and a contoured fuel tank.
Triumph Speed 400 - Features
In terms of features, it gets a digital analogue speedometer for bike related information along with optional added heated grips that will be sold as an additional accessory. It also gets ride-by-wire throttle, torque-assist clutch, switchable traction control system and a compact USB-C charging connection among additional features. It also comes standard with a steering lock and an anti-theft immobiliser.
Triumph Scrambler 400
Along with the Speed 400, Triumph India also launched the Scrambler 400 for the Indian market. The Triumph Scrambler 400 also gets the same powertrain unit as the Speed 400. Prices for the Scrambler 400 start at Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom).
Moreover, Triumph Motorcycles India also launched the Tiger 900 range and the Stealth Edition motorcycle during the India Bike Week 2023. The Tiger 900 range includes Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro. The Triumph Stealth Edition motorcycle will have a limited production run of one year and will feature eight different motorcycles.
