TVS Apache RTX Accessory: TVS recently launched its first adventure tourer in India, the Apache RTX, with a new 299cc RTX-D4 engine. As standard, the TVS Apache RTX comes with four ride modes (Urban, Rally, Tour, and Rain), while the Top and BTO variants add automatic headlamp control, switchable ABS, a bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, multi-level traction control, and TVS SmartXonnect.

TVS Apache RTX Accessories: Priced from Rs 499 to Rs 16,499

However, should the touring enthusiasts feel the need to customise their Apache RTX, TVS has collaborated with GIVI for accessories such as side panniers and a top box, priced at Rs 16,499 and Rs 9,999, respectively. TVS also offers knuckle guards and a rear tyre hugger, for Rs 1,849 and Rs 1,499, respectively. Those looking to amp up their bike's aesthetics can opt for a beak-styled front fender for Rs 499. For added convenience, particularly on longer trips, a USB charger (A+C Type), priced at Rs 1,057, is a practical feature for keeping your phone and navigation device charged.

TVS Apache RTX: Engine, Suspension

The brand-new RTX-D4 engine on the Apache RTX is tuned to produce 35.5bhp at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. This makes the Apache RTX the second most powerful bike from TVS, after the Apache RR 310. The latter's engine develops 37bhp at 9,800 rpm and 29Nm of torque at 7,900 rpm. Built on a purpose-built steel trellis frame, the Apache RTX is available with a long-travel inverted front fork from WP, and a long-travel monotube rear shock with a floating piston.
