BMW G 310 RR Price in India: BMW Motorrad India discontinued its budget motorcycles built in partnership with TVS Motor Company in April 2025 – the G 310 R and the G 310 GS, courtesy of the new OBD-2B emission norms that took effect on April 1 this year. With these bikes no longer available for purchase, the fully faired BMW G 310 RR sports bike is the new entry point into the company's India lineup. To stay relevant and competitive against more powerful and feature-loaded motorcycles, BMW has teased the arrival of the updated G 310 RR in India.

New BMW G 310 RR Teaser Details

BMW's Motorrad division took to social media to drop a teaser image, also captioning: 'The race has begun. It's just you and 309 other riders.' Based on what we can see, it appears that the bike features bodywork identical to the TVS Apache RR 310. Therefore, there is an angular tail section with a compact LED taillamp setup. What sets the upcoming G 310 RR bike apart visually is the revised decal slapped on the rear section.

New BMW G 310 RR: What to Expect?

Other details are awaited. However, it is anticipated that the new BMW G 310 RR could get aero winglets, similar to those found on the S 1000 RR and the M 1000 RR. While the existing G 310 RR comes with a 5-inch TFT display, dual-channel ABS, an infotainment control switch, ride-by-wire, and 4 ride modes (Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track), the upcoming version is expected to offer Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and cruise control.

Mechanical components are likely to continue – a 312.1cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a 6-speed gearbox. In the current BMW G 310 RR, the engine develops 34bhp and 27.3Nm of peak torque. Weighing 174kg (kerb), the fully-faired sports bike can accelerate 0-100km/h in 7.7 seconds, and reach a top speed of 160km/h.

BMW G 310 RR: Price, Rivals

With the government's recent GST rationalisation, which will take effect on September 22, the G 310 RR (currently on sale) will become cheaper by Rs 24,000. Post GST update, the bike will be priced at Rs 10.83 lakh (ex-showroom). Regarding the upcoming version, we anticipate that the updated bike will command a slight increase.

Introduced in 2022 in India, the G 310 RR is a rebadged version of the TVS Apache RR 310. It rivals the KTM RC 390 and the TVS Apache RR 310.
