The automotive industry of India has been expanding rapidly and we are now the world’s third largest automobile market in the world. 2023 has been an extremely happening year for the automotive industry in terms of new launches and new models as well as advancement in features and safety of passenger cars in the country. 2024 is expected to be more remarkable as there are new launches already lined-up for the upcoming year. Here are some new models slated to be launched in 2024.

Kia Sonet Facelift 

Kia India unveiled the Sonet facelift in India on Thursday with revamped exterior design and advanced features. However, the South Korean automaker has not yet disclosed the prices of the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift. Prices for the compact SUV facelift are expected to be announced in January 2024. The new Sonet features a futuristic design that has been aligned with other Kia models such as the new Seltos and Carens MPV. It will continue to be equipped with the same engine options as the outgoing model but will be available with new transmission choices. 

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift 

The new Mahindra XUV300 facelift is set to hit the Indian market in early 2024. It will undergo significant updates to both its exterior design and interior features. The XUV300 facelift is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine with manual and automatic transmission choices. Enhancements in the interior of the 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift may feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new digital console, ADAS and various other advancements.

Nissan Magnite Facelift 

Nissan India has not confirmed on a launch timeline of the 2024 Magnite facelift, however, it is expected that the Nissan Magnite facelift will be launched by mid 2024. Not a lot of details about the Nissan Magnite facelift are known yet but it is known that Nissan is in the works to produce a right-hand-drive iteration of the Magnite to export it to other international markets such as Africa, Middle East, Latin America and Mexico.
