Upcoming Kia Cars In 2024: South Korean automaker Kia recently unveiled the 2024 Sonet facelift for the Indian market. Kia India also launched the Seltos facelift earlier this year. Now, in the upcoming year of 2024, Kia is set to launch three new models in the Indian market. The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift will also be officially launched in January as the prices of the compact SUV have not been disclosed yet.
Kia Carnival Facelift
Kia recently revealed the Carnival MPV facelift in November for all global markets. The Kia Carnival facelift is scheduled to be launched in 2024 for the Indian market. The fourth-gen Carnival MPV has been revamped significantly on the exterior as well as the interior. Notable features inside the MPV include two 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment and digital instrument cluster, an entertainment system for the rear seats that includes a 14.6-inch HD screen, OTA updates, a head-up display and the option to start your vehicle with your fingerprint along with other standard features. In terms of powertrain, it will be available with three engine options - a 3.5-litre petrol engine, a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a new 1.6-turbocharged petrol engine that gets a hybrid powertrain.

Kia EV9
Kia EV9 will be the second electric model from the Korean automaker in the country after the Kia EV6. The EV9 is a three-row electric SUV and Kia aims to capture the passenger EV segment in the country post its launch. It is expected that Kia will launch the EV9 SUV in India in 2024. The Kia EV9 will be built on the same Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) which is also used in the Kia EV6. It is expected to be equipped with a 150 kW electric motor that will allow 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 9.4 seconds. As per Kia, it will feature an 800-volt electrical architecture that will enable ultra-fast charging in the EV9, allowing it to cover 239 kilometers with just a 15-minute charge. Additionally, Kia claims that the EV9 will boast an impressive range of up to 541 kilometers on a single charge. The top-spec model of the Kia EV9 will also offer Level 3 ADAS suite, enabling hands-free driving on highways with its highway driving pilot feature.
Kia Clavis
Kia India recently registered a trademark for the name Clavis in the country, hinting that a model named Kia Clavis is expected to launch soon in the market. There is no confirmation on any details about the Clavis, however, it has been speculated that the Kia Clavis can be either a mid-size sedan or a micro SUV model. It is also likely that Kia will be introducing both ICE and EV variants of the Clavis as Kia India has stated that they have plans to launch two EV models in the country.
