Upcoming Skoda Cars In India: Skoda Auto entered the Indian market in 2001 for the first time and has shown sincere commitment to the market ever since. Skoda has brought in several popular models in the country that were received extremely well in the market. Skoda India currently retails three models in the country - Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq. In addition to these models, Skoda has plans to launch more models in the upcoming year.

Skoda Enyaq EV

Skoda recently showcased the Enyaq EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, however,  there has been no confirmation from Skoda on the launch of the Enyaq EV in the country. The Enyaq EV is set to arrive in India through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route, based on the brand's MEB platform. It is equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack, providing a WLTP claimed range of 500 km. The Skoda Enyaq is driven by a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 200 bhp of power and a peak torque of 310 Nm.

Skoda Superb Facelift 

Skoda unveiled the next-generation Superb in November 2023, with plans to introduce it in select markets, including India, by 2024. The new Superb will offer a range of powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid. Its interior will feature a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10-inch digital cluster, updated rotary push buttons for HVAC and drive modes, among other functions.

Skoda Octavia Facelift 

The 2024 Skoda Octavia sedan facelift is expected to launch in India in 2025. The Octavia facelift features a complete overhaul of its exterior and interior, along with new powertrain options. The facelifted Octavia will offer a range of petrol engines, including a 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, 2.0-litre NA petrol, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre petrol with mild-hybrid technology. However, the diesel engine, which includes a 2.0-litre variant with multiple tuning options, will not be available in the Indian market.

Skoda New Compact SUV 

Skoda Auto India after achieving success with the Kushaq and Slavia, is set to venture into the compact SUV segment. Details about this new Skoda compact SUV are slated to be revealed on February 27. The compact SUV, anticipated to be a smaller version of the Skoda Kushaq, is projected to hit the Indian market in March 2025.
