Upcoming SUVs In September 2023: Several SUV launches are on the horizon this September. From the budget-friendly Honda Elevate to the high-end BMW 2 Series M Performance Edition and eco-friendly options like the Volvo C40 Recharge and Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, the Indian automotive market is gearing up for an exciting lineup of new arrivals.

Honda Elevate

Honda Elevate is set to be launched in India on September 4. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a maximum output of 119 bhp and a maximum torque of 145 Nm.

Volvo C40 Recharge

Volvo’s SUV, C40 Recharge, is also scheduled to be launched on September 4. The C40 Recharge is anticipated to cost a little bit more than the XC40 Recharge, which has a starting price of Rs 56.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The C40 Recharge is a born electric vehicle (BEV) with a twin motor configuration that produces an output of 408 bhp and 660 Nm. A 78 kWh battery is used for the power with a claimed range of 530 km.

BMW 2 Series M Performance Edition

BMW 2 Series M Performance Edition will be launched on September 7. It is estimated to have a starting price of Rs 47 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of engine, it will come fitted with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 179hp and 280Nm.

Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is set to be launched on September 15 and is the brand’s third EV in the country. It is anticipated to have a starting price of Rs 1.25 crore (ex-showroom). The EQE SUV comes in five variants with the base-level variant having a claimed range of 590 km and the top-level variant having a claimed range of 490 km.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

Mahindra’s much-awaited Bolero Neo Plus’s launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet but it is expected to be launched towards the end of September. It is expected to be priced between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). Bolero Neo Plus will be offered with only one diesel engine option that generates a combined power of 100 bhp and 260 Nm.
