Volkswagen has introduced a new limited edition variant of the Virtus GT Edge. The new variant will feature a new "Carbon Steel Grey Matte" colour option. The Virtus GT Edge is currently available in the Deep Black Pearl colour option. The Carbon Steel Grey Matte variant is a limited edition model, therefore it is going to be available in limited units. The bookings for this new iteration are open already and the brand claims that the deliveries will take place within 6 weeks.
Virtus GT Edge Upgrades-:
Notable updates in the new variant include some minor but significant design changes that include red finishing accents on the exterior paint of the Virtus GT Edge and red brake callipers as well.
Inside the cabin, the Virtus GT Edge features new red ambient lighting, aluminium pedals and cherry red leatherette upholstery giving the sedan a very sporty touch from the inside as well as from the outside.

Virtus GT Edge Engine Specs-:
The GT Edge variant is a more performance-oriented iteration of the standard Virtus as it is equipped with a more robust 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that generates 150 bhp of maximum power and 250 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard but there is also an option for choosing a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Virtus GT Edge Prices-:
The prices of this new variant have not been revealed yet but considering that the Virtus GT Edge Deep Black Pearl’s top variant came at a price tag of Rs 17,09,900 (as shown on the Volkswagen website), it is fair to assume that this new variant is most likely to be priced higher than that.
