Volvo has introduced the XC60 Black Edition, which will be based on the Onyx Black exterior colour with numerous distinctive black details including a glossy black iron mark emblem, the Volvo spread word mark, and 21-inch five-double spoke high gloss black alloy wheels. The XC60 has a sporty and classic appearance thanks to the all-black treatment.
Volvo XC60: Interior Design
The interior of the XC60 will be charcoal coloured with a black headliner. The new design offers two luxury seat upholstery choices – Nappa Leather/Leatherette/Textile Sport Seats and Charcoal Ventilated Nappa Leather. The inside will also have a 12.3-inch digital driver display with Google built-in, contrasting metal mesh aluminium styling, and a crystal gear shift lever.

Volvo XC60: Powertrain and Price
Two hybrid powertrain choices will be available: the XC60 Recharge Black Edition T8 and the XC60 B5 AWD Black Edition.
The XC60 Recharge Black Edition T8 will be a plug-in hybrid model and will combine a 143 bhp electric motor with a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine to produce 312 bhp. It will have an 18.8 kWh high voltage battery, and in Pure mode, it can travel over 56 kilometres entirely on electricity. It is priced at around USD 68,950.
The latter, XC60 B5 AWD Black Edition, will utilise mild hybrid technology, which combines an electric integrated starter generator and a conventional internal combustion engine to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and boost fuel efficiency. It has been priced at USD 57,500.

Volvo XC60: Availability
The XC60 Black Edition will soon be available for pre-order in the US, and delivery will start in early 2024.
Although there has been no official announcement on the Black Edition of the model coming to India, it is possible that the model will also be offered in India early next year. The Volvo XC60 is currently available in the Indian market.
