In the upcoming assembly elections, the NDA plans to present a document highlighting its achievements over the past 20 years under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This document will focus on the fundamental changes brought about during his tenure and compare them to the previous administrations. It will cover social changes before 2005, the state’s economic situation, and the progress made in controlling crime.

A draft of the document was discussed in a meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence on Wednesday. It was decided that the failures of the Lalu Prasad-Rabri Devi regime and the achievements of the Nitish government would be showcased in a report card. NDA leaders and party workers will actively promote this report as part of their campaign.

While CM Nitish Kumar and other NDA leaders frequently refer to the state’s conditions before 2005 in their speeches, the report card will provide concrete data to demonstrate the changes brought about by the government. The document will also include information about the government jobs created over the last two decades, efforts to generate employment, and initiatives aimed at benefiting marginalised communities.

It will also highlight the government’s efforts to ensure universal access to school education, such as the provision of free books, uniforms, bicycles, and scholarships. Infrastructure developments, including roads, large bridges, and significant improvements in rural roads, will also be featured. Additionally, the report will emphasise the government’s efforts toward uplifting women, backward classes, minorities, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes, while ensuring that no group was discriminated against based on caste or religion.

Key political figures such as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lallan Singh), Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, JDU National Executive President Sanjay Kumar Jha, BJP Organisation General Secretary Bhikhu Bhai Dalsamiya, and several other ministers attended the meeting.
