CCTV footage captured family members and guests from both sides throwing punches, shoving each other, and even wielding red plastic chairs as improvised weapons.
According to NDTV report, the bride’s family lodged a dowry complaint against the groom's side after the wedding was called off as a result of the altercation over the missing rasgullas.
The incident took place at a hotel in Bodh Gaya on November 29, where the bride's family had been staying. The groom’s family had travelled there from a nearby village. After the wedding rituals were completed, the bride's family caused an uproar when they discovered there were not enough rasgullas, the police said.
