The Transport Department has also asked all DTOs to organise vehicle fairs at the block level with the help of block development officers. This will help the beneficiaries to buy buses from authorised dealers and get financing from banks and financial institutions. The vehicle fairs will also create awareness among the general public about the scheme and its benefits.
