JE News Desk: In a shocking incident, the family of a doctor posted in a Railway Hospital in Bihar’s Samastipur district was sealed by the railway authorities along with the house. The administration confined the doctor's wife, elderly parents and younger son-daughter inside the bungalow as they sealed the house. Along with this, the power line was also disrupted. However, after the news came out in the media, the administration opened the gate of the bungalow.
Dainik Jagran's correspondent immediately reached the spot after getting the information about the doctor's family being sealed inside the bungalow. Dr Shivashish Rai was working as a contract doctor in the Railway Hospital located at Samastipur Railway Division Headquarters but his contract expired on May 22, 2023.
After this, the process of extending the contract period was going on at the administrative level. However, on June 12, the railway administration ordered them to vacate the bungalow by noon on June 13. On Tuesday, the Railway Police Force (RPF) along with the engineering department team of Railways sealed the bungalow along with the doctor's family, which had not vacated the house till 2 pm.

Dr Shivashish’s father alleged that the action was taken after his son had an argument with the son of a senior railway official on Monday night at a swimming pool. Soon after the faceoff, officials of the engineering department reached with notice to vacate the bungalow.
In less than 24 hours of the notice being issued, the bungalow was sealed on Tuesday afternoon. When a call was made to Divisional Railway Manager Alok Aggarwal for the enquiry related to the incident, he did not answer the call.
