The Education Department has directed the remaining 2,645 candidates—recommended by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) for the post of Head Teacher in primary schools—to select three preferred districts from the list of districts with available vacancies.
Candidates are required to submit their choices on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal between April 10 and April 15. Based on the preferences provided, districts will be allotted for their posting.
Director of Primary Education, Sahila, issued instructions regarding the process to all District Education Officers on Wednesday. A list of districts with available vacancies has also been released.
Earlier, on April 3, district allotments were made to 32,688 candidates based on their first, second, or third preferences through a software-based system. However, 2,645 candidates could not be allotted districts due to the unavailability of vacancies in their selected locations.
