Venugopal, Ajay Maken, Imran Pratapgarhi, Bihar Congress chief Rajesh Ram and party in-charge Krishna Allavaru.

Bihar Polls: Candidate List Finalised After Lengthy Deliberations
The Jagran.com report cited Sources as stating that, the CEC discussed more than 35 names from the list of 76 candidates proposed for the Bihar Assembly elections. Around 25 candidates had already been finalised in a previous meeting.
The meeting, which lasted for over three hours, involved detailed discussions about the candidates’ constituencies, public outreach, experience and organisational work. Most of the names had already been cleared by the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee before being forwarded to the central leadership for approval.

Efforts To Avoid Ticket Distribution Disputes
In a bid to prevent internal conflicts, the party this time opted for online applications for ticket seekers. Based on performance and regional influence, a panel of potential candidates was formed, which also included several sitting MLAs whose names were approved earlier.
Following the meeting, hundreds of Congress workers gathered outside the venue demanding more seats from the RJD and greater representation for women candidates.
With the candidate list now nearly complete, the Grand Alliance is expected to make a joint announcement of seat-sharing details in the coming days.
