Despite a seat-sharing agreement within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar, the possibility of 'friendly fights' on some seats is emerging. Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) has already fielded its candidates on six allotted seats but has now announced it will give party symbols to two more candidates. These candidates will contest against Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) in the Makhdumpur and Bodh Gaya constituencies.
The development came after journalists in Patna questioned Manjhi about Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's reported anger over unresolved issues on certain JDU and LJP seats.
In response, Manjhi said, "I completely agree with Nitish Kumar's anger. When a decision has been made in the NDA, how can another party give its symbol on JDU's seats? Agreeing with this, we will also give our symbol in Bodh Gaya and Makhdumpur." He asserted that the NDA will win with a majority this time.

The party has retained its sitting MLAs for the Imamganj, Tikari, Barachatti, and Sikandra seats.

Barachatti (Gaya): Jyoti Devi (Manjhi's son's mother-in-law)

Sikandra (Jamui): Prafulla Kumar Manjhi

Kutumba (Aurangabad): Lalan Ram
The list of all six candidates was officially released by the party's National General Secretary, Rajesh Kumar Pandey.
"Discontent Among Workers, But Won't Push Bihar into Jungle Raj": Manjhi

Manjhi posted on X, "We have received fewer seats. The morale of our workers has weakened. There is deep dissatisfaction among the workers, which will be compensated for in the future. This is the only assurance I can give them. But this does not mean we will push Bihar towards 'Jungle Raj' and destroy the peace of the people of Bihar."

He added, "For Bihar... for the honor and respect of Biharis, we are all ready. NDA will win, Bihar's honor will remain intact. Jai Modi, Tay Nitish (Victory for Modi, Nitish is certain)."
