Bihar News: You would have heard about a mock drill, rehearsal dance performance, or mock event ahead of some major event, but most likely in the first of its kind: a man from Bihar holds a mock funeral to check how much respect and affection people around him had for him.

In Konchi village, Guraru block of Gaya district, a 74-year-old Mohan Lal, a former Air Force soldier, stunned everyone by staging his own funeral ceremony while still alive. He went as far as arranging for people to take him to the crematorium on a decorated bier, complete with rituals and emotional background music.
