Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to commence his campaign for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election with an interactive session involving BJP workers on Wednesday, October 15.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the prime minister said that he will interact with the BJP workers in Bihar on October 15 as a part of 'Mera Booth, Sabse Majboot' (My booth the strongest) campaign.

“Our dedicated workers are working with full energy to ensure the victory of the BJP-NDA in Bihar. Interacting with such dedicated workers always provides new inspiration. On October 15, I will get the opportunity to directly interact with such hard-working workers,” PM Modi wrote on X.

The prime minister further encouraged party workers to share their suggestions and said that he would directly interact with those chosen under the ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Majboot' initiative. “I will also discuss their suggestions directly with a select group of workers,” he added.

Earlier this week, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the dates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The elections for 243 constituencies are scheduled to be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with vote counting set for November 14.

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which includes Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha, is locked in a direct battle with the Mahagathbandhan led by the RJD-led Grand Alliance. The grand alliance includes Congress, Left parties, and several smaller outfits.

The BJP is expected to announce its first list of candidates today, October 12. Earlier on October 9, Jan Suraaj party led by poll strategist Prashant Kishor, announced its first list of 51 candidates, taking a lead in the fray.
