Bihar News: In Muzaffarpur district, Bihar, an Indian Air Force helicopter conducting flood relief operations made an emergency landing in a waterlogged area. Footage of the partially submerged aircraft quickly went viral across social media.
A video featuring a local YouTuber reporting on the incident has captured widespread attention and admiration online. The clip shows the young man narrating the dramatic emergency landing while standing near the chopper. During the reporting, he mentioned the efforts of local residents who assisted IAF personnel during the challenging situation. One local remarked that he would always be willing to risk his life to protect soldiers.

The engaging reporting has garnered over million views, earning praise from social media users. According to reports from PTI, the IAF helicopter was carrying three personnel, including two pilots, all of whom were safely rescued. Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar confirmed that the helicopter landed in a waterlogged area of Aurai block. By the time authorities arrived, locals had already pulled out all the occupants from the helicopter.
In separate news, four blocks in Muzaffarpur district are severely affected by floods, with the Bagmati river's water level receding while Lakhandei remains a concern. Residents in remote areas face a lack of government assistance, leading women in Vistha village to appeal to Mother Ganga for relief. They light lamps in the floodwaters, expressing their despair over ruined crops and loans taken for paddy cultivation. Flood victims feel abandoned and are resorting to their faith amid the devastation.
