The Bihar government has announced that 58,879 newly appointed teachers in government schools will receive their salaries from their date of joining. The Finance Department and Accountant General's office have given their consent to the Education Department's proposal regarding salary payments.
These teachers, selected through the Bihar Public Service Commission's Third Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-Shri), must join their allocated schools and begin teaching by May 31st. Salaries will be paid from the date they join their respective schools. It is mandatory for them to inform the District Education Office of their joining date.
The Director (Primary) of the Education Department, Sahila, has issued instructions to all District Education Officers to update the profiles of every newly appointed teacher who joins and starts teaching. This is to ensure that there are no delays in salary payments.
The newly appointed teachers are expected to start joining their allocated schools from May 15. Instructions regarding this have been issued to all District Education Officers by the Director of Primary Education. According to the instructions, for teachers who have already received their provisional appointment letters, their school posting letters and proforma joining forms can be printed through the software.
For those who haven't received their provisional appointment letters, these documents, along with the school posting letters and proforma joining forms, will be printed through the software. After joining, it's mandatory for the teachers to complete their technical joining process on the departmental counseling portal.
The date and time of joining must be clearly mentioned. These teachers will be covered under the new pension scheme, so the process of PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) allocation will also be carried out.
