Bihar Govt Transfers 54 Administrative Service Officers; New Postings Across Key Departments

The Bihar government has issued transfer and posting orders for 54 officers of the Bihar Administrative Service. A notification to this effect was released by the General Administration Department on Tuesday.

As per the order, several senior and subordinate officers have been given new responsibilities. Notable transfers include Navneel Kumar, Additional Collector, Disaster Management Department, who has been posted as Additional Collector, Disaster Management, Araria; Gyan Prakash, Deputy Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, appointed as Municipal Commissioner, Samastipur; and Dr Gajendra Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, appointed as Municipal Commissioner, Sitamarhi.

Pooja Kumari, Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Pakri Dayal, will now serve as Special Officer, Public Health Engineering Department. Akanksha Gupta, Senior Deputy Collector, Vaishali, has been posted as Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal Officer, Jehanabad, while Kumar Alok, SDO, Forbesganj, will serve as Senior Deputy Collector, Madhubani.

Multiple Sub-Divisional Officers have been appointed as District Transport Officers, including Ritu Rani (West Champaran), Amanpreet Singh (Arwal), Dixit Shwetam (Kishanganj), Rakesh Kumar Singh (Rohtas), Rahul Sinha (Nalanda), Amit Kumar (Bhojpur), Avinash Kumar (Jehanabad), Sunanda Kumari (Aurangabad), Rajiv Kumar (Supaul), Prashant Kumar (Sitamarhi), and Baby Kumari (Sheikhpura).

Several officers who were awaiting posting have also been assigned responsibilities. These include Chal Kumar Prashant as Additional Collector, Muzaffarpur; Sunil Kumar Ranjan as Special Officer, Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission; Abdul Hameed as Joint Secretary, Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department; Shahid Parvez as Additional Secretary, Minority Welfare Department; and Anjani Kumar as Deputy Development Commissioner, Purnia.

Other postings include appointments in roles such as Senior Deputy Collectors, Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal Officers, Deputy Directors (Food), Special Officers, and Settlement Officers across various districts.
