The Indian Jan Aushadhi medicine store was inaugurated at Kumkum Complex near the Kali Temple at the block headquarters in Bihar’s Obra. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by Chief Guest Shri Krishna Pathak and Swaraj Party's National President, former MLA of Obra, Som Prakash Singh. A large number of people from the block area attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest emphasised that the launch of Indian Jan Aushadhi in a small town like Obra, under the Prime Minister’s initiative, will ensure the availability of affordable medicines, particularly benefiting people in remote areas. He highlighted that this initiative aims to provide high-quality medicines at lower prices, making healthcare more accessible to underprivileged families.
Following the inauguration, many people purchased medicines, acknowledging the government's efforts in making essential healthcare products affordable for the common public. After the event, retired teacher Acharya Shivkumar Pandey performed a traditional puja with mantra chanting, followed by prasad distribution.
Several notable attendees included Prabhat Kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Ranjan, Rahul Kumar, Dr Alok Kumar, Kamta Prasad, Swaraj Party District President Laxman Yadav, Kamal Gupta, Arvind Jaiswal, Ankur Kumar, Baijnath Tiwari, Rajendra Yadav, Krishna Yadav, Krishna Paswan, Sudarshan Yadav, and Jagan.
