A 10-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped after being lured from her home in an area under the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station. The girl's mother filed a FIR, naming two individuals in the complaint.
According to the mother's statement, the accused lured her daughter away on Thursday night. The family became worried when she did not return for a long time. The accused later brought the girl back home, after which she told her family about the assault.
City SP Kota Kiran Kumar confirmed that two men, identified as Altaf and Shivnath, have been arrested in connection with the crime. He stated that further legal action is underway, which includes a medical examination of the girl and the official recording of her statement in court.

SHO Reprimanded For Delay In Reporting Incident
In a related development, Sadar Station House Officer (SHO) Asmit Kumar was officially reprimanded for failing to inform his senior officers about the serious nature of the crime. City SP Kota Kiran Kumar reportedly learned of the gang-rape case from other sources and warned the SHO that disciplinary action would be taken if such a lapse in reporting occurs again.
