Bihar News: In a tragic incident, five people lost their lives after the roof of the house fell over them while they were sleeping in Patna's Danapur region on Sunday. The police officials removed the debris with the help of locals; however, the family members were already dead due to the severe injury. One of the local public representatives told the police that the house was built under the Indira Awaas (housing scheme), leading to suspicion over the quality of the materials used for the construction. While providing details, the police officials stated that a probe has been ordered into the matter.
The locals informed that Bablu Khan (32) lived in the house with his wife, Roshan Khatoon (30), and their children. They further stated that the family members were sleeping when the roof of the house suddenly collapsed around 10 pm on Sunday night. Bablu Khan, his wife Roshan Khatoon, daughters Rukhshar (12 years old) and Chandni (2 years old), and son Chand (10 years old) were buried under the debris. The incident caused a panic among the locals as they informed the police and rushed to rescue the family members.

Police arrived at the scene immediately and removed the debris with the help of local residents. However, the family members had already died due to the injuries. The officials stated that all the family members died when the roof of their house collapsed. They further stated that the deceased included the homeowner, Bablu Khan; his wife, Roshan Khatun; daughters Rukhshar and Chandni; and son Chand.
They further informed that the bodies of the deceased have been recovered and necessary action is being taken in the matter.
