The stoppage of train number 15231 Gondia Express at Dalsingh Sarai station under the Sonpur division of East Central Railway was officially inaugurated on Wednesday by Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai.

In addition to Hajipur BJP MLA Awadhesh Kumar Singh, MLC Dr. Tarun Chaudhary, Senior DCM Roshan Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager of Sonpur Division Vivek Bhushan Sood, and other branch officers were present on this occasion.

Speaking to the crowd, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs announced that under the Amrit Bharat station scheme, construction has begun at Dalsingh Sarai station to build a magnificent shopping mall and that 100 shops and goods will soon be built for the convenience of passengers. For lakhs of people in the area, this will mean both direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The reconstruction of Dalsingh Sarai station is being carried out at a cost of Rs 20 crore as part of the Amrit Bharat Yojana. This will include amenities like a high-level platform, a pedestrian-only path, an upgraded platform shed and surface, a wide ascending path, a modern station complex, an improved station approach road, and more.

Train 15231 Barauni-Gondia Express is scheduled to arrive at Dalsingh Sarai station at 10.37 am on February 14 and depart at 10.39 am. Similar to this, on February 16th, the Gondia-Barauni Express train (15232) will arrive at Dalsingh Sarai station at 07:02 and depart at 07:04 hours.
