Bihar Phase 2 Voting: Amid the ongoing voting for the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly election, all the political parties have claimed that the people have voted for them. While the Tejashwi Yadav-led Mahagathbandhan is contesting to form a government in the state after a decade, the NDA, led by Nitish Kumar, is eyeing to repeat the government. While the voting for the first phase was conducted on November 6, the poll on the remaining 122 seats is being conducted on Tuesday. As per the trends of previous polls, a neck-and-neck fight is expected between the two alliances for these seats. Apart from this, the entry of the newly formed Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) and Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM has added the spices to the politics of the state.
Tight Contest Expected On THESE Bhagalpur Seats:
- Pirpainti Assembly Constituency: The BJP has fielded a new candidate, Murari Paswan, while the RJD has reposed its faith in Ram Vilas. Apart from this, Jan Suraj's Ghanshyam Das is making the contest triangular, although the main fight is still considered to be between the BJP and the RJD.
- Nathnagar Assembly Constituency: The RJD has fielded former administrative officer Sheikh Ziaul Hasan, while the LJP(R) has fielded District Council President Mithun Kumar. The experts suggest that Ajay Kumar Rai of Jan Suraj could play a major role in splitting the vote here, reported Jagran.Com.
- Sultanganj Assembly Constituency: A tight contest is expected between JDU's Lalit Narayan Mandal, Congress' Lalan Kumar, and RJD's Chandan Kumar. Apart from this, Jan Suraj's Rakesh Kumar is also in the fray, further complicating the contest.
- Kahalgaon Assembly Constituency: The experts suggest that a neck-to-neck fight is expected between JDU's Shubhanand Mukesh, Congress' Praveen Singh, and RJD's Rajneesh Bharti. Apart from this, BJP rebel Pawan Kumar Yadav and Jan Suraj's Manzar Alam are also making an impact, making the contest even tougher.
