Bihar Polls: Janshakti Janta Dal founder and elder son of RJD chief Lalu Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, on Sunday reacted to his increased security amid the Bihar Assembly election. The ousted RJD leader claimed that he has been under threat, adding that his enemies might also get him "killed". Yadav asserted that his security was increased considering the threat during the polls, adding that "everyone seems enemy". The JJD founder also wished his younger brother and Mahagathbandhan's CM face, Tejashwi Yadav, on his 35th birthday. After being expelled by his father over anti-party activities, Tej Pratap launched his own party and is contesting the Mahua constituency.
While talking to the reporters in Patna, Tej Pratap emphasised that his security was upgraded to the Y-plus category due to a threat on his life amid the ongoing polls. "My security has been increased...I am under threat. My enemies may even get me killed. Everyone seems like an enemy," Tej Pratap asserted. While he did not disclose the identity of his enemy, he emphasised that everyone seems an enemy to him.
Apart from this, the JJD founder also blessed his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav, on his birthday by wishing the RJD leader to grow in his career. "My blessings are always with him. He should continue to grow further," Tej Pratap stated. Earlier on Saturday, he also emphasised that he will extend his support to the alliance that promises jobs to the youth.
The former health minister of Bihar was expelled from the RJD by his father, Lalu Yadav, for anti-party activities for six years. Tej Pratap was expelled after he reportedly confessed to being 'in a relationship' with a woman. He, however, deleted the social media post later with a claim that his page was "hacked". Lalu Prasad also disowned Tej Pratap due to his "irresponsible behaviour".
