As part of the first phase of the Intensive Revision of Voter List campaign (Bihar Voter List Verification 2025), all enumeration forms were uploaded to the Election Commission's website by late Saturday night. During this process, 3,95,211 names, accounting for 7.83% of previously registered voters, were removed from the voter list of Patna.
According to officials, 2.66% of the removed voters had passed away, while 3.07% had permanently shifted or migrated out of the assembly constituency. Additionally, 1.46% of voters had neither filled out their enumeration forms themselves nor were they found by Booth Level Officers, Jagran.com reported.
Furthermore, 0.64% of voters were found to be already registered in another assembly constituency. After the revision, the number of valid voters in the district has been reduced from 50,47,194 to 46,51,983. A total of 3,95,211 voters, accounting for 7.83% of previously registered voters, have been removed from the list.
The Election Commission will publish the draft voter list on August 1 and make it available on its website for claims and objections. However, voters can check their names online starting immediately by visiting the ECI website (eci.gov.in) and accessing the electoral roll for Bihar.

Check name online: Using mobile number, details, or EPIC number.
Submit claim: If name not found, submit claim with documents to ERO from August 1 to September 1.
Verification: BLO will verify the information and add the name to the list.
