Placement drives will now be held every two to three months across all engineering colleges in Bihar, including the Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT). The Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education has directed institutions to actively reach out to companies and invite them to conduct recruitment drives for students.
As part of the new mandate, Training and Placement Cells will hold monthly meetings to prepare targeted action plans. To improve global employability, the department has also launched language labs in technical institutes, where students will be trained in English, German, French, and Japanese. Colleges have been instructed to ensure that these labs operate regularly. Additionally, health sub-centres will be set up on campuses.
