Bihar Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for rain in 24 districts of Bihar today. Heavy rainfall, accompanied by strong winds, is expected from October 2-7, particularly in the eastern and northern districts, while the rest of the state will experience normal weather. The rain may cause maximum temperatures to drop by 2-3 Degree Celsius, providing some relief from the persistent humid heat.
On October 1, Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, and Arwal are likely to receive light rain, while Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, and Katihar may see heavy rainfall. Other districts, including Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, and Darbhanga, are expected to get light to moderate rain.

On October 5, the minimum temperature is 25 Degree Celsius and the maximum 29 Degree Celsius, with a generally cloudy sky, one or two spells of rain or thundershowers, and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning.
On October 6, the minimum temperature is 25 Degree Celsius and the maximum 32 Degree Celsius, with thunderstorms accompanied by rain.
On October 7, the minimum temperature is 26 Degree Celsius and the maximum 33 Degree Celsius, with thunderstorms accompanied by rain.
In the capital city of Patna, skies will remain cloudy for the next few days. Light to moderate showers are expected, with the maximum temperature dropping by 2-3 degrees Celsius, offering much-needed respite from the heat.
