Rainfall activity has gradually decreased across most parts of Bihar, including the capital, Patna. According to the Patna Meteorological Centre, light to moderate rainfall was recorded in several northern areas over the past 24 hours, while southern parts, including Patna, experienced dry weather under cloudy skies.

A warning for thunder and lightning has been issued for parts of 23 districts, with forecasts indicating mostly cloudy conditions and a slight rise of 2-3 degrees Celsius in maximum temperatures over the next 48 hours. Some areas may also witness scattered drizzle.

The highest rainfall in the past 24 hours was recorded in Sonbarsa, Sitamarhi, at 73 mm. Other major rainfall figures include 62.8 mm in Bihariganj (Madhepura), 52.4 mm in Taibpur (Kishanganj), 40 mm in Birpur (Supaul), 30.6 mm in Forbesganj (Araria), and 26 mm in Narpatganj (Araria).

In Patna, the maximum temperature stood at 30.0 degrees Celsius, while Valmiki Nagar recorded the highest temperature in the state at 33.0 degrees Celsius.
